"Sarah Smith has had the world on her shoulders from a young age. Abandoned by her parents as a child, she was raised in an orphanage in central Liverpool. The staff were kind and compassionate towards all the children. Unfortunately, that didn’t last. When the funding stopped and the kids were left in limbo, Sarah stepped up to care for and protect her adoptive family. It’s not always easy for a homeless teenager to find honest work, and so Sarah relied on less than honest methods to care for the others. Her impressive physical and intellectual talents were put to use and Sarah proved incredibly resourceful. Along with the support of her best friend, Nate, they were able to find reliable methods to feed, entertain, and shelter the lonely orphans, giving them a life beyond what they imagined possible for themselves. Now, when even greater challenges threaten to destroy everything they have built and gathered, Sarah stumbles onto something that could be the answer to all their troubles…"
