"In a remote little village, in the North of England, there is a small cottage at the edge of a forest. For decades, the cottage has sat silently, Most evenings, the sleepy village remains untouched, but every now and then, strangers come in. Adventurers, looking to uncover the secrets of this quiet setting because although it sits apart from the hustle and bustle of larger cities, some nights, the cottage becomes a gateway to something dark and sinister… You see, back in the 1920s, the cottage was home to a wonderful family. The Nelson’s, Stanley and his wife, Katherine, along with their three young daughters. Anyone would have told you that they were a stand-up family, at the heart of their community. Stan, as his friends would call him, was the man people would turn to when they were in need. With his great strength and stature, he could easily perform the work of two or even three men by himself. But one day, all of that changed… The day the Nelson’s died, the community started to fall apart. No one dared come close to the old cottage, whether it was fear or sadness, they were too overcome. And for decades, that is how it remained. Untouched, abandoned and alone. That is, until about two months ago, when the home suddenly appeared on a popular holiday rental site. The only trouble is, no one knows who put the cottage on there. Hopefully, people have enough brains to stay well away…"
